La r\u00e9ponse est en fait assez simple : les bouilloires en verre sont sujettes \u00e0 l\u2019explosion lorsqu\u2019elles sont surchauff\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Si l\u2019eau \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur d\u2019une th\u00e9i\u00e8re en verre a \u00e9t\u00e9 surchauff\u00e9e, l\u2019eau commence \u00e0 bourdonner et \u00e0 bouillir.<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Si vous voulez \u00e9viter de surchauffer votre th\u00e9i\u00e8re en verre, il est pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable de garder la flamme au plus bas. Si cela n\u2019est pas possible et que vous avez besoin de plus de chaleur pour faire bouillir l\u2019eau, envisagez alors de d\u00e9placer la th\u00e9i\u00e8re loin du feu et sur une plaque \u00e9lectrique ou une plaque \u00e0 induction. Vous pouvez aussi essayer de retirer une partie de l\u2019eau de votre th\u00e9i\u00e8re afin qu\u2019il y en ait moins en contact avec la chaleur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La meilleure fa\u00e7on d\u2019\u00e9viter l\u2019\u00e9bullition \u00e0 sec est de surveiller votre th\u00e9i\u00e8re en verre pendant qu\u2019elle bout ! De plus, v\u00e9rifiez votre r\u00e9cipient toutes les quelques minutes au cas o\u00f9 il y aurait des changements n\u00e9cessitant une attention imm\u00e9diate. Les bouilloires qui bouillent peuvent devenir tr\u00e8s chaudes tr\u00e8s rapidement \u2014 si une th\u00e9i\u00e8re en verre a \u00e9t\u00e9 surchauff\u00e9e et commence \u00e0 bouillonner hors de contr\u00f4le ou si elle fume fortement (ou m\u00eame si de la fum\u00e9e commence \u00e0 sortir), \u00e9teignez toutes les sources de chaleur imm\u00e9diatement \u2014 il peut \u00eatre temps de faire un nettoyage d\u2019urgence !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>La vapeur qui est lib\u00e9r\u00e9e par l\u2019eau qui bout va se condenser au fond du couvercle.<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Lorsque vous retirez le couvercle d\u2019une th\u00e9i\u00e8re qui bout, vous remarquerez probablement qu\u2019il y a de la vapeur qui se condense au fond. C\u2019est parce qu\u2019en chauffant l\u2019eau, elle lib\u00e8re des gaz dans l\u2019air (c\u2019est ce qui fait bouillir l\u2019eau). Ces gaz se rassemblent au fond du couvercle et peuvent \u00eatre lib\u00e9r\u00e9s lorsque vous le retirez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si vous remarquez qu\u2019il y a beaucoup de vapeur qui se forme et que votre th\u00e9i\u00e8re semble \u00e9mettre des bruits bizarres ou claquer plus que d\u2019habitude, cela peut indiquer que trop de choses se sont accumul\u00e9es dedans ! Si tel est le cas, ne paniquez pas ! Laissez tout tel quel pour l\u2019instant et prenez un peu de recul avant de revenir plus tard lorsque les choses auront un peu refroidi (vous ne voulez pas vous br\u00fbler !).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Au fur et \u00e0 mesure qu\u2019elle commence \u00e0 refroidir, un vide se cr\u00e9e entre le couvercle et la chaudi\u00e8re.<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La vapeur est ensuite aspir\u00e9e hors de la th\u00e9i\u00e8re par ce vide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La raison de ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne tient \u00e0 la thermodynamique : en chauffant l\u2019eau, elle se dilate. Lorsque vous ajoutez plus de chaleur, davantage d\u2019expansion se produit \u2014 mais finalement, \u00e0 un certain point (g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement autour de 100 \u00b0C \/ 212 \u00b0F), il n\u2019y a plus assez d\u2019espace pour d\u2019autres mol\u00e9cules \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tat liquide ; elles commencent \u00e0 s\u2019\u00e9vaporer en gaz \u00e0 la place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Le vide fait entrer l\u2019air par le rebord de la th\u00e9i\u00e8re, o\u00f9 il se r\u00e9chauffe encore plus en traversant la partie chaude de la th\u00e9i\u00e8re.<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c0 mesure que la vapeur s\u2019accumule sur le couvercle, elle cr\u00e9e un vide qui aspire l\u2019air d\u2019ailleurs. Cela peut causer de s\u00e9rieux probl\u00e8mes si votre th\u00e9i\u00e8re est surchauff\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le vide caus\u00e9 par l\u2019\u00e9bullition fait entrer l\u2019air par le bord de la th\u00e9i\u00e8re, o\u00f9 il se r\u00e9chauffe encore plus en traversant la partie chaude de la th\u00e9i\u00e8re. \u00c0 son tour, cet air chauff\u00e9 se dilate et s\u2019\u00e9chappe par les fissures ou interstices de son corps \u2014 y compris ceux que vous ne connaissiez pas jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce que votre th\u00e9i\u00e8re en verre explose !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>L\u2019air chauff\u00e9 se dilate et s\u2019\u00e9chappe par toutes les fissures ou interstices dans le corps de la th\u00e9i\u00e8re, ce qui provoque son explosion.<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Comme vous l\u2019avez peut-\u00eatre remarqu\u00e9, de nombreux facteurs peuvent provoquer l\u2019explosion d\u2019une th\u00e9i\u00e8re.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le couvercle a \u00e9t\u00e9 laiss\u00e9 trop longtemps : si vous laissez le couvercle de votre th\u00e9i\u00e8re ferm\u00e9 trop longtemps, l\u2019air \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur va se r\u00e9chauffer et se dilater jusqu\u2019\u00e0 atteindre son point d\u2019\u00e9bullition. La pression va alors augmenter au-del\u00e0 des niveaux normaux \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur du r\u00e9cipient en verre, provoquant son explosion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La th\u00e9i\u00e8re a \u00e9t\u00e9 faite tomber : un r\u00e9cipient en verre tomb\u00e9 peut se fissurer ou se briser lorsqu\u2019il re\u00e7oit une force suffisante, entra\u00eenant une explosion s\u2019il contient de l\u2019eau ou un autre liquide sous pression (comme les th\u00e9i\u00e8res le font). Ce type de rupture est \u00e9galement courant lorsque le verre est expos\u00e9 \u00e0 de fortes temp\u00e9ratures pendant des p\u00e9riodes prolong\u00e9es (comme lorsqu\u2019il reste dans l\u2019eau trop longtemps), ce qui affaiblit sa structure mol\u00e9culaire et la rend moins stable avec le temps jusqu\u2019au jour o\u00f9\u2026 boum ! Explosion!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L bouilloire a \u00e9t\u00e9 expos\u00e9e \u00e0 de hautes temp\u00e9ratures : lors de la cuisson des \u0153ufs \u00e0 chaleur \u00e9lev\u00e9e ou lorsque l\u2019on met quelque chose de froid comme de la glace dans de l\u2019eau chaude chauff\u00e9e au-dessus de 212 degr\u00e9s Fahrenheit (100 degr\u00e9s Celsius), il existe un risque de choc thermique se produisant dans ces contenants en raison de changements soudains entre des temp\u00e9ratures diff\u00e9rentes qui peuvent les amener \u2013 en particulier celles fabriqu\u00e9es avec des parois fines comme le verre \u2013 \u00e0 se briser sans avertissement en raison de fractures de contrainte se formant lentement \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur avec le temps qui atteignent finalement des points de rupture critiques lorsqu\u2019elles sont sollicit\u00e9es au-del\u00e0 des limites normales parce qu\u2019elles ne sont pas aussi r\u00e9sistantes que d\u2019autres mat\u00e9riaux comme les m\u00e9taux ou les c\u00e9ramiques dans des conditions similaires\u2026 et ainsi de suite\u2026 et ainsi de suite<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Les bouilloires en verre sont sujettes \u00e0 l\u2019explosion en cas de surchauffe<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019une des causes les plus fr\u00e9quentes d\u2019explosion de bouilloires en verre est la surchauffe. Lorsque vous chauffez une bouilloire, il est important de le faire de mani\u00e8re s\u00fbre. Assurez-vous toujours que votre plaque de cuisson est propre et d\u00e9pourvue de d\u00e9bris avant de l\u2019utiliser pour chauffer de l\u2019eau. S\u2019il y a des morceaux de nourriture sur votre br\u00fbleur, ils pourraient prendre feu \u00e0 cause de la chaleur \u00e9mise par votre bouilloire \u2014 et ce serait extr\u00eamement dangereux si cela \u00e9tait laiss\u00e9 sans surveillance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lorsqu\u2019on chauffe avec du verre, gardez toujours un \u0153il sur la temp\u00e9rature du liquide et assurez-vous qu\u2019elle ne d\u00e9passe pas 205 degr\u00e9s Fahrenheit ; au-del\u00e0 de ce point de temp\u00e9rature, le verre deviendra si chaud qu\u2019il peut se fissurer ou s\u2019ouvrir sous l\u2019effet du choc thermique caus\u00e9 par l\u2019expansion et la contraction rapides lors du refroidissement apr\u00e8s avoir atteint sa nouvelle limite de temp\u00e9rature maximale (qui se produit \u00e0 environ 600 degr\u00e9s Celsius).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En conclusion, les bouilloires en verre sont tr\u00e8s utiles pour pr\u00e9parer du th\u00e9 et d\u2019autres boissons chaudes. Cependant, il est important de se rappeler qu\u2019elles peuvent aussi exploser si elles surchauffent. Cela se produit g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement lorsque l\u2019eau \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur commence \u00e0 bouillir ou si de la vapeur s\u2019accumule sur le dessus du couvercle avant de s\u2019\u00e9chapper par de petites fissures dans le corps.
